Workshop Information
The stoneworking summer-school is an exciting introduction to this specialist craft. Students will begin by learning how to use traditional stone-carving tools to carve their own small piece in soft stone. Exploring some of the architectural principles of building with stone, we will then build on these techniques to carve and assemble a small structure as a group. A great opportunity to learn not only a new skill but about its historic and architectural context.
