What is Trompe l’Oeil
Trompe l’Oeil (French for ‘deceive the eye’) is a method of creating optical illusions in paint, traditionally used in mural painting and fine art.
What to Expect
You will learn how to paint realistic illusions using acrylic paint on boards – you will be able to take your work home at the end of the course. We will paint a trompe l’oeil architectural feature (such as a moulding) and a small detail (for example a little creature or object).
