Venue: Dulwich College - London
Deadline to apply: 10/08/2020
Dates: This Workshop will run from Monday 10th August 2020 until Friday 14th August 2020.
We will explore historic and contemporary silhouette making. You will make silhouettes using traditional paper-cutting techniques and use them to illustrate a story of your choice (perhaps a story you have made up?). You will then use your paper cut-outs to make images using light-sensitive paper (‘cyanotypes’ or ‘sun prints’, an early form of photographic printing). This course will be particularly interesting for students who would like to explore illustration, graphic design and textile design.
The Tutor will be the very talented Sarah Hocombe.
